BBQ Salmon with Mango Salsa

This BBQ Salmon with Mango Salsa is one of our favorites during grilling season! Fresh, delicious, healthy, and on the table in 30 minutes. Pair this meal with an American Pale Ale.



This BBQ Salmon with Mango Salsa is an explosion of flavor! Smoky-bbq'd salmon topped with fresh, juicy mango salsa. Not only is it delicious, its quick and simple - a perfect go-to meal.






  • Mixing Bowl

  • Citrus Juicer

  • Salmon

  • Salt

  • Garlic powder

  • Black pepper

  • BBQ sauce

  • Mango

  • Red bell pepper

  • Yellow onion

  • Lime

  • Cilantro

  • Jalapeño



DIRECTIONS

STEP 1: SALMON
  • Season the salmon with salt, garlic powder, and pepper.

  • Use a basting brush to coat the salmon with your favorite BBQ sauce.

STEP 2: SALMON
  • Grill over medium-high heat, skin-side down, for 6-8 minutes (until it's about 90% cooked).

  • Flip the salmon and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fully cooked and remove from the grill.

STEP 3: MANGO SALSA
  • Char the jalapeño until blackened, deseed and dice.

  • In a bowl, combine the salsa ingredients: mango, bell pepper, onion, cilantro, and, charred jalapeño.

  • Add the lime juice and mix together.

STEP 4: SERVE





INGREDIENTS

Makes 4-5 servings

SALMON

  • 1 lb salmon

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

  • 1/2 C BBQ sauce

MANGO SALSA

  • 1 mango, diced

  • 1 red bell pepper, diced

  • 1/4 yellow onion, diced

  • 1 lime, juiced

  • 1/2 C fresh cilantro, chopped

  • 1 jalapeño, charred, deseeded, and diced
