Macha Fire Gnocchi is a creamy and spicy gnocchi pasta made with our homemade Macha Fire Butter.

The Macha Fire Butter is a very spicy, Mexican-style salsa blended with butter. It's delicious in pasta like this, spreading on fresh bread, or even as a compound butter for steaks.

DIRECTIONS

STEP 1: SAUCE
  • Sauté the shallot with olive oil over medium heat until translucent then add in the tomato paste.

  • Cook while frequently stirring for 1 minute.

STEP 2: MACHA FIRE
STEP 3: BOIL
  • Bring 3 qts water to boil then generously salt the water (about 1 TBSP).

  • Add the gnocchi to the water and cook.

  • Retain about 1 C pasta water for the sauce then drain the remaining water.

STEP 4: COMBINE
  • Heat the sauce over medium-low heat.

  • Add 1/2 C pasta water to the sauce and stir to reach a creamy consistency.

  • Add in the gnocchi and fully coat in the sauce.

  • Top with grated parm, mozzarella cheese, and fresh basil.
